Darjeeling
Darjeeling, in North Bengal, is about 650 kms from Calcutta, is a famous hill resort offering a breath taking sight of the numerous peaks of the majestic Himalayas. The views of Kanchenjunga and Mount Everest are particularly awe Inspiring. The luxuriant vegetation is a plant lover’s paradise. Climate
Average temperature range from 8.5 C to 15 C in Summer and from 1.5 C to 6 C in winter. Light woollen and tropicals are recommended during Summers while heavy woollens are a must during Winters. Carrying an umbrella is a must during the Monsoon Months.
